Who is Carol Shelton?

Carol Shelton is the character of focus in “That Feeling, You Can Only Say What it is in French.” Carol is caught in a loop of déjà vu as she wakes from a nightmare about a trip she and her husband are taking to realize the plane in which they are flying is about to crash. As she lives through the repetitive loops, remembering a little more of what will happen each time, she wonders if the things she did to keep her husband’s love were worth it. She remembers, in particular, having an abortion because Bill did not want a baby.
