Richard “Dinky” Ellery Earnshaw

Richard “Dinky” Ellery Earnshaw is the central character in “Everything’s Eventual.” Dinky is a naive young man who dropped out of high school and can find no job better than the one he has working at a grocery store. One of Dinky’s co-workers, Skipper, bullies and physically abuses Dinky until Dinky has had enough and uses his special ability to kill Skipper. Dinky learned when he was a child that he could kill animals by writing letters. Skipper was the first person on whom Dinky tried this talent.
