Vic Linderman is the husband of Lori, father of Lucky, and son of Harry and Janice. Vic has grown up without his father, and appears to be a cold and distant man who doesn't get along with his wife. In reality, Vic is lonely and unsure, having grown up without Harry in his life. As such, he has few ways to connect with Lucky, but is pleasantly surprise to discover his son has a knack for cooking. They begin building their father-son relationship around cooking, and Vic's relationship with Lori also improves dramatically when she and Lucky return from Arizona.
