Uncle Dave is the husband of Jodi and the brother of Lori. It is to Dave and Jodi's home that Lori and Lucky venture. While there, Dave teaches Lucky how to lift weights, and offers him sound advice on how to deal with bullies. Dave himself was once a bully, and according to Ginny, Dave is an adulterer who cheats on Jodi all the time, including with Ginny's own mother. At first, Lucky has a good rapport and a strong relationship with Dave, but after Dave's failures are revealed, Dave disgusts Lucky.
