Ginny is the beautiful seventeen year-old girl whom Lucky meets in Tempe, Arizona. Ginny is kind, but very much a feminist, and is at the same time, a hair model. She resents her life, because her parents always force her to do what she doesn't want to do, and they structure her day very strictly. Ginny despises the lack of control she has over her own life, so she smokes cigarettes to rebel. She gives Lucky his first kiss, and cuts off all of her hair to spite her parents and wrest control away from them. Unfortunately, Ginny's mother beats her up over the shaving of her head, and Ginny runs to seek comfort in Lucky's arms.
