Who is Miles from Evermore: The Immortals and what is their importance?

One of Ever's two best friends, Miles is gay and an outcast at school. Miles is probably more secure in his lifestyle than the third member of Ever's trio, Haven. Miles apparently struggles with his father's inability to accept his lifestyle and describes the painful days spent trying to watch or participate in athletics at his father's insistence.
