Who is Ava from Evermore: The Immortals and what is their importance?

Ava is the psychic, who is hired by Sabine as a fun diversion at a Halloween party, Ava is a true psychic who immediately sees Riley and recognizes Ever as a psychic. Ava prompts Ever to realize she needs to allow Riley to cross over. Though Ever is initially angry at Ava's interference, she eventually realizes Ava is right. Ava also helps Ever create a shield around herself to provide some insulation against the constant chatter of those around her.
