Who is King from Entwined and what is their importance?

The King is princesses's father. He is uninvolved in his daughters' lives while their mother is alive and goes to war right after her death. When he returns from the war, he forms a relationship with his daughters that he has never had before.

The King prefers regiment and order, and as a result, his daughters are named in alphabetical order. He also prefers that he and his daughters take meals at the same time each day and all together.
