The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer
Why did the author end the book with Germaine's story? Is this a good ending? Why or why not?

I think this is a significant ending that has great impact. Much is known about cancer, but there is still a great deal to be learned. Many people still try all options to rid their bodies of cancer, and cancer is still victorious.
