Who is Mrs. Clark from Emergence: Labeled Autistic and what is their importance?

Mrs. Clark is Temple's very first school teacher. Temple describes her as having a face as white as a ghost and wearing strong perfume. Although Mrs. Clark tries to be inclusive and understanding as a teacher, she fails miserably, as she is unable to adapt to the new alternative teaching methods. Her frustration with Temple's behavior often results in her losing her temper.
