Mr. M, Election, is on the surface a beloved school teacher at the school where Paul and Tammy attend. He comes across, initially as a morally absolute character. But later, it comes out that he not only rigged the election, but he has a vendetta against Tracy for her part in the Jack Dexter affair. The irony is that Mr. M has been having an affair with Jack's wife. He loses his job at the school amid fallout from the scandal and ends up working at a used car dealership.
