Who is Wiglif from Eaters of the Dead: The Manuscript of Ibn Fadlan and what is their importance?

Wiglif is one of Rothgar's sons. He is on a mission to obtain his father's throne by whatever means necessary and has already killed three of his own brothers. Wiglif alsi plans to overthrow his father. Wary of Buliwyf's presence, Wiglifand plots to kill Buliwyf too. Once his plot is discovered and thwarted, there is no other mention of Wigif in the text.
