What is Palanthas

The grandest city in Krynn, Palanthas is built like a wheel. The hub of the wheel, or the center, contains all of the government buildings. The roads, made of fitted stone and placed by dwarves, spoke off in eight directions, matching the major compass points.

Palanthas is the home to the great library, which is run by the Order of the Aesthetics. The Order is a group of monks that diligently record the history of Krynn.

It is also home to the Tower of High Sorcery, which is a cursed building at the center of the city in a grove of trees. It is said to be the most important of all of the mage's five towers and contains large amounts of magical items.
