Importance of Hotel Room

The hotel room is where April and her family spend several days while waiting for the trial (in which Mr. Corrigan is testifying) to be over. The whole family feels very confined in the hotel room, which they do not even leave to eat. Mike Vamp finds the hotel room (due to the letter that April sends to Steve) and Jim (the Corrigans’ bodyguard) is killed outside the door to the hotel room.
