Faustus begins to show off his new found powers. He entertains scholars who want to see Helen of Troy. He summons her and they remark about her beauty. They leave and an old man appears. He tells Faustus that his soul can yet be saved. Faustus wavers and considers, but Mephistophilis tells him that he will tear him to pieces. Faustus renews his vow in blood and asks that Helen of Troy become his lover. Mephistophilis grants his wish. The Old Man that came to visit him is plagued by all sorts of physical ailments and trials, but his faith remains triumphant.
