What is the author's style in Dirt by Stuart Woods?

Dirt is written in Standard English. As such, there is little difficulty entailed in understanding what is being said. Given the nature of the subject matter, it bears mentioning that there are quite a few terms which refer to sex and sexual acts in this novel. However, for the most part, the language used by the characters is in Dirt leaves little to the imagination.
