Ming is Chang's sister. When Chang sees her name on the list of AWOL employees from the GC he deletes it. Ming does not believe in Carpathia and refuses to take the mark. It is Ming's idea for Chang to break into the GC's television network and broadcast Tsion's debate of Carpathia's message on television.
