Captain Rayford Steele is one of the original members of the Tribulation Force and the commander of these troops. He is Chloe's father and Kenny's grandfather. One of Rayford's most obvious personality characteristics is his aversion to the use of weapons. He voices his disproval of the use of lethal force when George first tells him of the guns that he has secured for their troops.
