Gabrielle decided to give the photos to the media after finding evidence of Sexton's bribery on his computer. Up until then, she kept the photos a secret, only giving them to Yolanda to keep safe. She only makes the decision to share the photos after she learns that Sexton plans to break the news about the falsified meteorite, in addition to the proof of his bribery.

Gabrielle learns that people are not always what they seem. She also learns that Washington is not a place she wants to be.
