On page 49, Justyce says leaving and staying at the Halloween parties were both statements. What does he mean by this? Do you think Justyce made the right choice? Explain. On chapter 5

In context, if Justyce leaves the party, he will essentially be disengaging from from his prep school friends. In staying, he will be ignoring the fact that his friends are indeed racist. Justyce is torn because he doesn't feel as if he belongs... and yet he doesn't belong and doesn't want to belong to the Black Jihadists either. Justyce's decision to leave is based on safety, he isn't really given a choice.
