Who is Carol Culver from Deal Breaker and what is their importance?

Carol Culver Adam's wife. The couple have three children; Jessica, Kathy, and Edward. Carol is a staunch Catholic and a stern disciplinarian with her children, particualrly Kathy. The night her husband was murdered, Carol and Adam argued about her long term affair with her husband's best friend, Paul Duncan. Though she was wracked with guilt over the affair chose not to end it. Carol was later reminded of her hypocrisy and infidelity by the nude and pornographic photographs Kathy would take with herself and then mail to her mother.
