What are the rules for using IceWing magic on the novel, Darkstalker?

Because animus dragons are so rare, dragons that have animus magic must appreciate their gift and abide by the limits the tribe has set. The power must never be used frivolously or for personal use. The power must be saved for the gifting ceremony and only used once in a lifetime to benefit the entire tribe. Then it must never be used again.
