What is Widow's Vale?

The town where the book is set is a small town in upstate New York. There is not much going on, except for the presence of so many witches. When Maeve and Angus fled Ireland they came to this region and settled. Cal and Selene are not from the area, but Morgan grew up there. Morgan has lived a pretty typical life, up until she found out she was adopted, and her real mother was a witch.
