How is Danny's experience a coming of age story in the novel, Danny the Champion of the World?

Danny’s journey to find his father and to poach is also a coming of age journey in Roald Dahl’s novel “Danny the Champion of the World.” The difficult and real-world experiences people face can transform their lives in important and better ways.
