Why does Weston think Wesley and Emma are spoiled?

Weston thinks Wesley and Emma are spoiled because they think they are starving when there is a refrigerator full of food. Weston thinks the situation is "paradise for a young person". He tells Wesley he has everything and has opportunity staring right at him in his current situation.
