Sally Morgan is Larry's wife. She is described as small, pretty, quiet, and loving. Sally and Larry met while she was working in the library at Berkeley, and together they made their way through school and beyond.

Sally had a very difficult time delivering their only child, Lang, and was unable to have more children. Ever stoic and positive, Sally remained uncomplaining and accepted her life for what it was. Three years after the birth of her son, Sally was stricken with polio. As a result, she spent the rest of her life walking with canes and braces. This suffering further refines her already patient personality, and turns her into someone people can rely on in times of trouble.
