i have to write a literary essay on the di vinci code. "discuss what your crime novel says about the hidden or unconscious aspects of society" help!

Crime novels are so popular becuse of all the crime we see in real life. This is a reaction to the fear that people have that crime will one day affect them. THe crime novel gives people peace of mind that if something would happen to them, that the bad guys would get caught and be punished.
