Who is Nancy Whiteley from Couldn't Keep It to Myself: Testimonies from Our Imprisoned Sisters and what is their importance?

Nancy Whitely is the contributor of two stories to this book: The True Face of Earth and Orbiting Izzy. Convicted of conspiracy to commit credit card fraud in 2000, Nancy and her husband lived the high life for quite awhile before they were both arrested.

Since her release, Nancy has kept a full-time job and has committed to a twelve-step program for alcohol and drug abuse. She also admits to being able to express herself better on paper than in conversation. says that for some reason she can put down on paper the things that she isn't able to say out loud.
