Has Clay been worried about Myna's health since the beating? How can you tell?

Although Clay sent some candies to Myna as she was recuperating, he has not been worried about her well-being. This is obvious when he comes to Teenie's cottage, because he does not pay any attention to Myna at all, until he realizes that he can show her off to his friends. He never asks about how she is feeling or shows any tenderness toward her; in fact, he mocks her fear for Tidbit and threatens her when she yells at him to stop treating the boy so poorly. Obviously, despite his weak attempts to make connections with her, Clay is concerned only with what pleasure Myna provides him.
