What happens at the end of "Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister" by George Maguire?

At the end of the novel, the Prince recognizes Clara when he visits her home. This recognition, however, exposes Margarethe's lies. In the end, Clara and the Prince live happily ever after, and Clara, goodhearted as always, asks the Prince to forgive her family and keep them safe.
