How does the Tramp discover that the girl selling flowers is blind?

In "The Flower Girl," the Tramp is approached by the blind girl who is selling flowers. Not realizing she is blind, he begins flirting with her, but when she drops a flower and attempts to retrieve it, he discovers she is blind and is immediately smitten with her.
