Who is Miriam Mozes from Children of the Flames: Dr. Josef Mengele and the Untold Story of the Twins of Auschwitz and what is their importance?

Miriam Mozes and her twin sister, Eva, were sent to Auschwitz. After the war, she became a nurse, and she eventually accepted to position of head nurse in an Israeli hospital. Eva and Miriam initiated the first reunion of the Mengele twins in 1985, and they sponsored a return trip to Auschwitz through their organization CANDLES. Miriam suffered terrible health problems as a result of Mengele's experiments.
