At the end of chapter 4 it says a car followed after Dru's. Who was it?

I guess I missed part of the book? The last page of chapter 4 it says a car followed after Dru's car. Did it explain later who it was?

From the text, we might infer that Gloria, Seth;s estranged mother, is in the car.
