Who is Sterling Grooms from Chasing the Dime: A Novel and what is their importance?

Sterling has been with Amedeo Technologies and Henry longer than anyone else. He had signed on with Henry right after completing his post doctorate at UCLA. He holds the title of lab manager and is just a couple of years younger than Henry.
