Summary for Catching Fire on CH 3

In Chapter Three, Katniss is in the bath when her prep team arrives. They complain about the state of her nails and hair, but quickly go to work to make her look presentable for the cameras. Cinna arrives, Katniss' dresser, with a grouping of clothing he designed but which they plan to tell Panem that Katniss designed as part of her talent. Katniss' mother gives her the mockingjay pin that was her good luck piece during the games. Katniss then unites with Peeta in a great show of affection and is whisked off to the waiting train. When they first stop for fuel, Katniss takes Haymitch for a walk and tells him of her visit from the president. Haymitch warns Katniss to play the game, telling her she must give up Gale and face a future with Peeta.
