Frank is caught if anyone questions his story or checks him out with Pan Am, if he happens to return to cash another check at a location where he already passes a bad check, if he drops the notebook in which he keeps track of airline facts and terminology, or if the notebook is picked up and glanced through by someone who knows how unlikely it is that a real pilot keeps those kind of notes.
