Who is Kyle Craig from Cat and Mouse and what is their importance?

Kyle Craig is an FBI district supervisor, and Thomas Pierce's supervisor. After Cross is attacked, we learn that it is Craig who assigns Pierce to the investigation, and also that Cross has ulterior motives in requesting that assignment.
