Does Sampson become angry with Pierce for leaving to go to Paris?

Sampson and Pierce meet in the hotel parking lot. Sampson shouts angrily at Pierce and asks him why he is leaving. He accuses Pierce of leaving without telling him, and just walks away when Pierce asks him to trust him.
