Who is Stormy Llewellyn from Brother Odd and what is their importance?

Stormy was the longtime friend and girlfriend of Odd Thomas until sixteen months ago when she died. Born Bronwen Llewellyn, she preferred the name Stormy. She had Egyptian black eyes, and one of her favorite phrases with Odd was "Loop me in, Odd one," which basically meant, "tell me about your day."
