Patrick Shanahan is a sorcerer. He is the grandson of the man that commissioned Zoe to steal the From Hell letter. It is from Patrick's house that Elena, Jeremy and Clay steal the From Hell letter. Patrick goes into hiding after the letter goes missing. Before Patrick can provide all of the information about the letter, someone casts a spell that causes Patrick to burn inside and die.
