Who are the only people to care that the man is dead? Why do they care?
From Stave 4
From Stave 4
Scrooge sees the only people who have emotion about the man's death are people who are happy about it: “If there is any person in the town, who feels emotion caused by this man's death,” said Scrooge quite agonised, “show that person to me, Spirit, I beseech you.” Business men are happy about the free lunch at his funeral, Scrooge's servants are happy to take his things.
