Betty is in her late 60s or early 70s. She helps to clean and take care of Valerie Pomeroy. When Valerie's son and grandchildren come to visit, Betty enjoys taking care of them as well. When Betty cleans Valerie's house, she also brings news and gossip to Valerie about what is taking place around the village.
