Who is Horst in Bent by Martin Sherman?

Horst is one of the prisoners Max meets on the train transporting prisoners to Dachau. Horst advises Max how to act and what to avoid. Over the course of the play, Max falls in love with Horst, and the two become involved in a sexual affair expressed by words rather than physical action.
