Who is Greta in Bent by Martin Sherman?

Greta is the owner of Greta's nightclub where Rudy is employed as a dancer. A drag queen, Greta eventually closes down the club because of the heat the Gestapo is putting on the gay community. After closing the club, Greta returns to his family and resumes living as straight man.
