Who is Lady Delacour from Belinda?

Lady Delacour is one of the novel's main characters. She is thoughtless, vein, and often acts from emotion. Fortunately, over the course of the novel, we see Lady Delacour take charge of her life, work at her marriage, and rid herself of friends who aren't really friends. The complete turn around of what was a very unhappy existence makes for a very, happy ending.
