Johanna (Jo) Noonan (nee Arlen) from Bag of Bones is Mike Noonan's late wife. She was the love of his life and the feelings were mutual. She grew up in Massachuesetts, the only girl with five brothers. She and Mike were both English majors at the University of Maine. She dies from a brain aneurysm that happens quite suddenly leaving Mike reeling from the space that she's left in his life. The day that she died she was purchasing a home pregnancy test.
