Daniel decides that he wants the tree that he seems to be inside of to be cut down. He wants the trunk hollowed out. Then he wants himself to be made all over again from what is scooped from the inside of the tree. Then he wants his new self slid back inside the old trunk. Then he wants himself and the trunk burned. He wants the ashes spread where next year's crops will grow. Then he will be born again and the cycle can start over again.
