Who is Nosy in Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb?

Nosy is a puppy (the runt of the litter) that Fitz creates a clse bond with. After the stable master gets rid of the pup, Fitz believes him to be dead. He later finds Nosy alive, well, and fully grown. Nosy later died saving Fitz's life.
