What is the job of the Sanhedrin?

The primary function of the Sanhedrin is to govern and actively analyze, debate and work through the faith. The Sanhedrin also provides central leadership for the faith or at least a place where the leaders of the faith can gather regularly to make decisions that affect all people living in this faith.
