Buck is Chloe's wife and Kenny's father. Buck was a journalist prior to the appearance of the Anti-Christ and he continues to use his talent though he is now seeking to bring others to Christ and to encourage them to study the word of God. Buck is a serious man and is dedicated to his family and friends. When Chloe is captured, Buck wants to storm the prison to free Chloe though others tell him it would be a suicide mission. When Buck comes to accept Chloe's fate, he is quick to apologize for having been rude to others while he was so upset. This is an important aspect of Buck's nature. Buck is a studious man and seeks Tsion's understanding of the scriptures as they relate to the second coming of Jesus. Buck is assigned the task of guarding Tsion in Jerusalem and he sets out to do so, grateful for the opportunity to be involved in the action as a means of taking his mind off Chloe's death. There, Buck tries to protect Tsion but accepts his role in Tsion's work as that of minister to those who want to accept Jesus in the final hours before His return. Buck is with Tsion when Tsion is killed and relates the news to Rayford who is still at Petra. Buck is at the Wailing Wall when Carpathia's forces break through the outer walls of the city. He's killed there.
